The Lions of Long Grove is a club associated with the Lions of Illinois District 1-F.  Lions District 1F covers the northeast corner of  Illinois from Lake Michigan and the Wisconsin border  to Schaumburg on the southwest.  This organization is part of the Lions Clubs International.

We are located in Long Grove, Illinois.  This village dates back to the early 1800's and is located 35 miles northwest of Chicago in Southern Lake County.

We participate in a variety of fund raising activities for the blind, deaf, and speech impaired as well as providing assistance to the less fortunate in our area.  Our club has donated in excess of a half million dollars to local friends in need.

Our members have a great time while providing our time and energies to aid those who need our help.  If you would like to assist us in our efforts, or would like to join our organization please feel free to stop by one of our monthly meetings.  We get together at the Village Tavern of Long Grove, 135 Old McHenry Road, Long Grove, Il. on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 P.M.

Lions Clubs International is a network of 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world.

Known for working to end preventable blindness, Lions participate in a vast variety of projects important to their communities. These projects range from cleaning up local parks to providing supplies to victims of natural disasters.

Beginning in 1917, the association of Lions clubs has provided millions of people with the opportunity to give something back to their communities.
